The Higher Education survey focuses on people's political attitudes and their views of higher education. The information from this survey will help researchers understand the public's level of support for different university activities.
The pretest began in Fall of 2019 in six states: Ohio, West Virginia, California, Florida, New York, and Texas. The survey was administered through CHRR's American Population Panel by matching panel members' demographics from the six initial states.
The research team for the Higher Ed survey consists of principal investigator, Dr. Stephen Gavazzi, who is a professor in the Department of Human Sciences (OSU) and co-principal investigator: Dr. Elizabeth Cooksey, CHRR Director and professor of Sociology (OSU) with additional support from CHRR staff.
