Making Research Work For Education

The Ohio Education Research Center (OERC) addresses critical issues of education practice and policy through a preschool-through-workforce research agenda. The OERC identifies and shares successful practices, responds to the needs educators and policymakers in Ohio and across the nation, and signals emerging trends.

The OERC is a member of Ohio Analytics, an administrative data partnership that supports education and workforce research priorities of Ohio’s public agencies and the OERC. Ohio Analytics centralizes state administrative data into a single data repository, the Ohio Longitudinal Data Archive (OLDA), for education and workforce research.

The OERC is a unit of the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University and works closely with partner universities, research organizations and government entities to fulfill its mission. As part of the OERC network, CHRR provides data management for the OLDA.
