Please join us for an online seminar in March sharing new research insights on teen health, presented by renowned sociologist and Ohio State professor Chris Browning, PhD.
An Unprecedented Mapping of Teen Life
Key Insights from the Adolescent Health and Development in Context Study
Browning will discuss key findings from recent research on how neighborhoods and other social factors impact the health and well-being of youth. Mark your calendars for the free seminar — March 6, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The event also includes a question-and-answer opportunity for audience members.
In addition to recent findings, Browning will also discuss innovative data collection methods that have resulted in unparalleled, real-time views of teens’ interactions, social networks, and communities. The ongoing project at the heart of Browning’s research is the Adolescent Health and Development in Context (AHDC) study, which focuses on a large sample of youth ages 11-17 in Central Ohio.
The seminar is sponsored by CHRR at The Ohio State University, a center for survey research and data services that is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. It’s one of several initiatives planned for the year, so please watch for more opportunities to celebrate our Ohio State student, staff, and faculty research community — and the stakeholders they support.
